Engineer / Senior Engineer - QA

Role Overview: You will be a full-time Engineer / Senior Engineer - QA based in Kochi, with the flexibility of some work from home. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of products through various quality engineering practices. This will involve conducting quality control and assurance activities, managing product quality, and implementing quality management practices. Collaboration with development teams is key to maintaining high standards of quality across all products. Key Responsibilities: - Review and validate requirements and technical specifications. - Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and customer conversations. - Document results, offer observations or improvements after analyzing test results and overall product quality. - Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing). - Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization. - Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes. - Manage testing efforts across 1-2 projects under tight deadlines. - Represent CogniCor values to other associates and clients. - Require familiarity with at least one programming language and the ability to code, debug, and analyze code for test automation purposes. Qualifications Required: - BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT or equivalent. - 2-6 years of relevant experience in QA. - Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Control. - Experience in Quality Assurance and Product Quality. - Proficiency in Quality Management principles and practices. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.,
