We are looking for an experienced Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our Electric Powertrain team. The role involves the design and development of commercial vehicle electric powertrains, including motors, inverters, reducers, and e-axles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electric vehicle (EV) experience and the technical expertise needed to support prototype and validation teams, suppliers, and manufacturing units.
The position requires strong analytical skills to perform system-level analysis, root cause investigations, and interface issue resolution. The engineer will also lead design reviews, define component specifications, and recommend improvements to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
Design and develop electric powertrain components including motors, inverters, reducers, and e-axles.
Support prototype and validation teams with technical inputs and documentation.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to define, refine, and validate component specifications.
Conduct system analysis and root cause investigations for interface and performance-related issues.
Coordinate and lead design reviews; suggest improvements for product performance and cost reduction.
Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and durability requirements for commercial vehicle EV applications.
