Role Overview: You will be joining as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) within the Technology for Business (TfB) team. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with development and technology leaders to create automated testing frameworks, ensuring code quality throughout the delivery pipeline. As an SDET, you will be actively involved in the complete development lifecycle, driving automation strategies and supporting functional and non-functional testing to uphold reliability and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that requirements and user stories are testable and address any ambiguities that may arise - Provide testing estimates and manage test activities effectively - Develop and maintain both manual and automated test suites to validate software functionality - Handle defects efficiently and coordinate with end-to-end testing teams for seamless execution - Utilize tools such as SonarQube for code coverage analysis - Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Delivery pipeline for streamlined processes - Design automation systems and tools to enhance engineering capabilities - Contribute to the design of unit, performance, scalability, and durability test cases - Manage test data across all delivery phases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage - Stay updated with the latest testing best practices and tools to enhance testing efficiency - Collaborate with Dev and Ops teams to maintain high testing standards - Participate actively in design and code reviews to ensure code quality Qualifications Required: - Possess 2-5 years of experience with proficiency in at least 3 programming languages such as C#, Java, and JavaScript - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills are essential for this role - Demonstrated understanding of Agile development lifecycle methodologies - Hands-on experience with various testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, Appium, etc. - Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and different test strategies is a plus - Experience with CA Service Virtualization or similar tools will be beneficial - Proficiency in issue tracking and agile project management platforms is necessary - Previous exposure to CI/CT/CD and DevOps environments is highly desirable - Development experience on Unix/Windows or mobile platforms (Android/iOS) will be advantageous - A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
