Job Summary Production (Fabrication)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor daily/weekly fabrication schedules.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials to meet production targets.
• Supervise welders, fitters, and fabricators on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with design, quality, purchase, and stores departments.
• Ensure fabrication is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Implement in-process quality checks to minimize defects and rework.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, PED norms/ EN 3834 and other applicable standards.
• Drive productivity improvements and reduce wastage.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing and process automation.
• Monitor and control fabrication costs within approved budgets.
• Prepare and maintain daily production records and reports.
• Present and analyze production KPIs (output, downtime, rejection rate, utilization).
• Ensure adherence to safety norms and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
