Engineer Production

As a CNC Programmer at Varel Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and programming CNC machine tools using CAD and CAM software. Your role will involve designing 2D/3D models and converting them into machine instructions (G-code) to ensure precise machining to specified tolerances. Collaborating with engineers and production teams will be essential to understand technical drawings and make necessary modifications to optimize machine performance and reduce cycle time. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting and resolving any machine programming or operational issues, reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine material, machine, tooling, and process requirements. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control processes will be a top priority in your role. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest CAD/CAM technologies and machining techniques and perform routine machine maintenance as well as assist in machine repairs when necessary. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Strong knowledge of CNC VMC programming, familiarity with CAD/CAM software, and the ability to interpret technical drawings are required. Hands-on experience in tool selection, machining processes, and quality control will be beneficial for this position.
