Job Description

As a CNC Programmer at Varel Energy Solutions, your role will involve developing and programming CNC machine tools using CAD and CAM software. You will be responsible for designing 2D/3D models and converting them into machine instructions (G-code). Additionally, you will set up and calibrate machines according to specifications to ensure that parts are machined to precise tolerances. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with engineers and production teams to understand technical drawings and specifications - Modifying existing programs to optimize machine performance and reduce cycle time - Troubleshooting and resolving any machine programming or operational issues - Reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine material, machine, tooling, and process requirements - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control processes - Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest CAD/CAM technologies and machining techniques - Performing routine machine maintenance and assisting in machine repairs when necessary - Documenting and maintaining records of program changes, production schedules, and work orders Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Strong knowledge of CNC VMC programming - Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret technical drawings - Hands-on experience in tool selection, machining processes, and quality control Thank you for considering a career with Varel Energy Solutions.
