1) Develop, design, and optimize plastic injection moulding processes for new and existing products.
2) Select appropriate materials and moulding parameters to achieve desired product quality and performance.
3) Set up, operate, and maintain injection moulding machines, ensuring optimal machine settings.
4) Troubleshoot and resolve moulding defects such as warping, sink marks, flash, short shots, and other production issues.
5) Conduct mould trials and validate process capability for new moulds and product launches.
6) Implement quality control procedures and perform regular inspections of moulded parts to maintain standards.
7) Monitor and optimize production cycle times and costs without compromising quality.
8) Maintain documentation of process parameters, maintenance schedules, and production data.
9) Train production staff on best practices in mould operation and maintenance.
10) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
