Description
Roles and Responsibilities Strong understanding of substation design principles, electrical equipment, and relevant standards. Develop and create 3D models of Substation AIS Equipment like CB, DS & ES, CT, CVT, LA, BPI, Al. Tube, Clamps & Connectors, Lattice structure for bus and line gantry etc. using PRIMTECH 3D Modelling of Power Transformers, Outdoor and Indoor GIS, Hybrid GIS, Reactors, GIS Hall, Control Building, Substation overall layout etc. using PRIMTECH 3D. Create accurate layouts of substations, considering space constraints, safety clearances, and interconnections. Manage and update the 3D model throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Preparation of BOQ for cables, trays, clamps & connectors, insulator hardware, disc insulators, BPI etc. using PRIMTECH 3D. Hands on experience on Simulation of Substation Sag tension Calculation, Short Circuit force calculation, Lightning protection calculation, cantilever force calculation, Clearance diagram preparation etc. using PRIMTECH 3D. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide visualizations of the substation design. Experience of making prototype GA using given templates and vendor GA drawing using PRIMTECH 3D is highly required. Preparation of As Built drawings, Construction Drawings, field red markup drawing update etc. using PRIMTECH 3D. Work closely with other engineers and designers, including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers, to ensure a cohesive design. Demonstrate proficiency in PRIMTECH software and other relevant CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Micro station, Solid Works etc. will be preferable. Prepare and maintain documentation related to the 3D model, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
