Engineer - Patching & Change Management

Role Overview: You will be a Patching Change Specialist in the Midrange and Engineered Platforms team at NAB Innovation Centre India. Your role involves managing and executing Midrange patching changes to ensure compliance with the bank's policies. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan and implement changes, aiming to deliver exceptional service to colleagues and customers. Additionally, you will drive simplification, hyper-standardisation, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable the success of complex patching changes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and execute Midrange patching changes each week - Ensure patches are applied to meet the bank's Compliance Framework and Risk Policies - Liaise with stakeholders to plan and raise appropriate Change records - Create a clear runsheet of implementation tasks and obtain relevant approvals - Coordinate all activities during execution to ensure no incident or service impact - Deliver value to the bank's customers through secure and available systems - Drive simplification and hyper-standardisation to lower management costs and improve consolidation - Work closely with other technical experts to deliver a cohesive/standardised environment - Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable the success of complex patching changes Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex change - 5+ years of experience in project coordination/management - Experience working in complex technology environments - Experience with Service Now - Experience with Midrange technologies such as Linux, Solaris, AIX, Oracle Engineered Systems - Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making - Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting & documentation skills - Strong delivery focus with an active approach to quality and auditability Note: The job description also includes information about NAB as a company, its commitment to diversity and inclusion, and its focus on creating a positive workplace environment for its employees.
