Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee
day-to-day operation
of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
Monitor effluent quality parameters including
pH, TDS, COD, BOD, heavy metals, and other critical indicators
for incoming and treated effluent.
Ensure treated water meets statutory norms and discharge standards.
Adjust
chemical dosing, aeration, and other process parameters
to optimize plant performance.
Maintain records of test results, compliance reports, and daily operational logs.
Plan and supervise
preventive and corrective maintenance
of ETP equipment (pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, pipelines, etc.).
Coordinate with external agencies for statutory inspections and audits.
Drive cost-effective usage of chemicals and consumables.
Implement safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards at the ETP area.
Train and guide operators on best practices for ETP operation and compliance.
