Engineer I (Payload Controls Mechatronics)

You should have 2 - 5 years of experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting of Electronics Embedded Systems. Your role will involve working with STM 32 microcontrollers and embedded C firmware programming. A deep understanding of basic electronics circuit design and development is essential. You should possess excellent knowledge of interfaces and hardware subsystems on microcontrollers, along with the ability to interface various types of hardware transducers and sensors. Additionally, you must be proficient in reading schematics and data sheets for components. Your responsibilities will include schematic designs and updates, component selection, and developing schematics based on functional, electrical, and environmental requirements. You will collaborate with and review the work of the PCB Design engineer. Strong documentation and writing skills are crucial for this role. Your expertise should cover programming languages such as C and Embedded C, microcontrollers specifically STM32, and serial protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and USB. Familiarity with power supplies like Buck/Boost DC-DC Regulators and designing tools such as Altium and Eagle is required.
