  • Knowledge on Rotary CNC Milling machine operations
  • Knowledge on machine operating system viz. Fanuc & Siemens etc.
  • Well versed in CNC programming independently
  • Knowledge on studying, understanding, and implementing the Engineering drawings.
  • Adequate exposure on usage of Different Tools, Jigs & Fixtures
  • Excellent Setting & Technical trouble shooting skills.
  • Production, Cost, Quality & Delivery with Safety
  • Knowledge on using different kind of measuring instruments.
  • People Management skills

  1. Responsible for the production from CNC Milling machines
  2. Responsible for organising the input material from PPC and from previous operations.
  3. Planning & organising necessary Tools, Tool & Components holding devices for production.
  4. Preparation & Planning for the optimum utilisation of all the Work Centres.
  5. Monitoring & Planning of manpower resources
  6. Discussion with Planning for the annual requirements & Capacity
  7. Planning for Setup changes and preparation
  8. Coordination with Tool Room for Die set requirements.
  9. Exercise control on Yield and Inventory

Production & Delivery

  1. Ensure 100 % production alignment on the monthly agreed plans.
  2. Achieve Daily / Weekly / Monthly rated production.
  3. Daily monitoring of machines availability upto 95 %
  4. Ensure daily Input, Setting & trouble shooting to achieve the daily rate of production.
  5. Ensure the machine wise consumables availability.
  6. Trigger the stress relieving & Grinding operations to prepare the input in advance.
  7. Coordinate for the components cleaning from Durr machines.
  8. Work allotment to Employees & impart training.
  9. Daily coordination with PPT / Tool Room for Tools & Die Sets including Kanban Stock.
  10. Preparation & circulation of daily production report to Manager

Quality:

  1. Achieve the FTA upto 95 %
  2. Check the Input quality before taking up for production.
  3. Carryout the inprocess inspection as per OPS frequency
  4. Daily monitoring and collection of rejections & analysis
  5. Track the Quality of lots at QC / IQF and understand.
  6. Monitoring of rework and coordinate with IQF/ QC and plan to clear them.
  7. Liasoning with Tool Room / QC / Standards Room for Die set Coordinates acceptance before production.
  8. Timely calibration of Measuring Instruments & Gauges.
  9. Effort towards zero customer complaint.
  10. Maintain the COPQ is well within the norm.

  1. Monitor the Tools Consumption & action for reduction.

  1. Identification of PQCDSMILE initiatives & Implementation
  2. Analyse Rejections & Rework and initiate corrective action for improvement.

  4. Involve in the usage of contemporary measurement systems.
  5. Participating in SGA / CFT / Idea plus processes
  6. Participating in TBEM / QEMS/OHSAS, 5S activities.
