Engineer - Drainage

As a candidate for the role of highways and highway drainage projects leader, you will be responsible for various key tasks and requirements. You should have experience in leading the development and delivery of highway and highway drainage projects, from feasibility to planning, detailed design, and construction stages. Your role will involve working on a range of highways schemes related to highway drainage elements, producing drainage engineering designs and construction drawings independently, and coordinating inputs with other disciplines to create integrated designs. Key Responsibilities: - Work on a range of highways schemes associated with highway drainage elements - Produce drainage engineering designs and construction drawings independently for various UK schemes - Coordinate inputs and outputs with other disciplines to produce an integrated design - Design and model drainage networks including SuDS features - Utilize software like Micro Drainage, InfoDrainage, Sewer GEMS, Sewer CAD, Civil 3D, etc. - Ensure compliance with standards such as DMRB, CIRIA, Sewers for adoption, DCG, etc. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills and originality - Display cultural awareness, conscientiousness, and an open mind - Be self-motivated and able to motivate others - Work under pressure with minimal supervision - Check work to ensure quality deliverables - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel Desired Skills (But Not Essential): - Project management and line management skills - Project estimations and bid support - Detailing support on general arrangement drawings and CAD supervision - Knowledge of CDM regulations and their application - Quick validation of designs and models to ensure quality - Experience in UK client interactions and project delivery planning Qualifications and Experience: - B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience - M.
