Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineer-Designer to join our Renault GESC team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive design and engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automotive components and systems in alignment with project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design performance and reliability.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality.
Continuously research and implement new design methodologies and technologies to enhance innovation.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
6-7 years of experience in automotive design and engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design processes.
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) for performance analysis.
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IATF).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
