Engine Oil / Driveline Technology Development Manager

As a key member of our team, your role will involve formulating and developing profitable additive package product platforms that meet the current and future requirements of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and industry standards. You will be tasked with acquiring the necessary knowledge to create distinctive products in the market, focusing on developing customer and OEM technology solutions for various applications including motorcycle, passenger car, outboard/marine recreation, snowmobile/ATV, lawn mower, and handheld power tools. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the development of new products and technology platforms to address customer needs in the IMEA region, aligning with our global technology initiatives. Collaborating closely with commercial teams, you will set product development targets, establish design criteria, and ensure alignment with intellectual property strategies. Additionally, you will be required to plan, implement, and oversee interdisciplinary projects, identify strategic product opportunities, and anticipate industry trends to maintain Lubrizol's competitive edge. To qualify for this role, you should hold a PhD in Chemistry/Engineering with at least 6 years of industrial experience or a master's degree in chemistry/engineering with a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in chemical synthesis and lubricants formulation within an industrial setting.
