Role Overview: As a PMO professional at Amdocs, you will play a crucial role in providing a formal, centralized layer of project control and integration in the unit/account program. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the program managers, project managers, and service partners, assuming execution responsibilities of specific project management areas and program management governance support responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Building and supervising holistic (E2E) program/project plans, covering all aspects of the program such as deployment and give and get - Ensuring accurate project planning, identifying task owners, and aligning work with the charter to meet critical metrics and planned results - Providing an integrative view and analysis of various project aspects within the program to enable better decision-making - Supervising and highlighting trends, raising areas of concern regarding possible deviations from project and program plans - Supporting program and project governance by performing project audits and reviews, as well as extracting lessons learned - Preparing risk management reports and statuses, reviewing project activities to identify risks, and developing contingency plans - Deploying effective and auditable methods under the Project Management Office's responsibility and implementing project management tools and standard methodologies Qualification Required: - A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent - Experience working with project methodology, management, and PMO processes like scheduling and budget management - Understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly Agile - Ability to work with a team, excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders, including senior staff - Experience working as a PMO in a software/IT/Telco organization is an advantage - Resourcefulness and the ability to take ownership of your work Additional Details: Working at Amdocs, you will have the opportunity to serve as the project focal point, directly contributing to customer happiness.
