Role Overview: You will be joining Ingka Group Digital, where the digital agenda is set to keep IKEA at the forefront in a dynamic environment. Your role will involve driving the development, provision, and operation of digital products and services utilizing new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to ensure speedy delivery. As part of the team, you will be involved in building, integrating, and utilizing software to solve complex problems. In addition, you will contribute to nurturing digital skills to enhance technical, people, and business capabilities for continuous growth in the digital domain. Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling - Provide technical foresight and mentoring to the team members - Utilize cloud technologies, preferably GCP with an interest in Alibaba Cloud - Work with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc., following modern DevOps practices - Develop efficient code using programming languages like Go, Java, or similar - Implement Sprint Boot microservices and API management - Implement event-driven architecture using tools such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc. - Ensure a fully automated development and deployment process - Demonstrate expertise in design patterns and possess a strong technical aptitude - Work with both NoSQL and relational database technologies - Implement logging, alerting, tracing, and debugging in the cloud - Understand and implement security concepts, especially related to the cloud environment Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a software engineer with expertise in the specific tech stack for the area - Proficiency in testing, automation, cloud development, and associated tools - Ability to prioritize tasks based on value and communicate effectively with team members - Willingness to learn and grow, and contribute to the growth of others - Strong understanding of microservice architecture and best practices - Capability to collaborate with multiple domains and subdomains to achieve consensus and deliver results efficiently Additional Company Details: You will be working in a team that strives to make people's lives easier and enhance their shopping experience.
