Emergency Medical Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide on-scene patient assessment.
• Deliver Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR, airway management, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, and splinting.
• Assist paramedics with advanced procedures as allowed by certification level.
• Safely lift, move, and transport patients to medical facilities.
• Communicate patient status and care provided to receiving hospital staff.
• Operate emergency vehicles in accordance with safety and traffic regulations.
• Maintain and clean medical equipment, supplies, and the ambulance.
• Document patient care using electronic or written reporting systems.
• Follow all local, state, and federal medical protocols and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (EMT-Basic, Advanced EMT, or equivalent).
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.
• Ability to lift and move 100+ lbs with assistance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, and emotional resilience.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, unpredictable emergency settings.
• Exposure to outdoor weather, accidents, trauma, and medical emergencies.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
