Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain
EMC storage systems
including but not limited to
VMAX, Unity, VNX, XtremIO, PowerMax
, and
Isilon/PowerScale
.
Configure and manage
SAN/NAS environments
,
storage provisioning
,
zoning
, and
LUN masking
using
EMC Unisphere, Navisphere
, or
CLI
.
Monitor storage performance, health, and capacity using tools like
EMC ViPR SRM
,
EMC Secure Remote Services (ESRS)
, and
Dell EMC SupportAssist
.
Perform
storage upgrades
, firmware updates, and patching with minimal business disruption.
Implement and maintain
data replication and backup solutions
, such as
EMC RecoverPoint
,
Data Domain
,
Avamar
, or
Networker
.
Support disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing for storage solutions.
Collaborate with VMware, network, and database administrators to ensure seamless storage integration.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot storage-related issues, and provide on-call support as needed.
Document storage architecture, procedures, configurations, and incident resolutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience as a
Storage Administrator
with a focus on
Dell EMC solutions
.
Proficiency in managing
enterprise SAN/NAS systems
and working with
Brocade or Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches
.
Strong understanding of
RAID levels
,
thin provisioning
,
deduplication
, and
snapshot technologies
.
Working knowledge of
backup and recovery strategies
,
data migration
, and
storage tiering
.
Experience with scripting (e.g.,
PowerShell
,
Shell
) for automation is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
