Embedded Software /firmware Intern

As an Embedded Firmware & Software Intern/Fresher at our company in Ahmadabad, you will be part of a dynamic team working on developing innovative solutions in embedded technology. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Assisting in the design, development, and debugging of embedded firmware for microcontrollers and embedded devices. - Working with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN. - Writing and maintaining embedded C/C++ code for various microcontroller platforms like ARM, PIC, AVR, and STM32. - Participating in hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting of circuits and firmware. - Collaborating with hardware engineers to bring up new hardware. - Documenting code, designs, test results, and the development process. - Supporting software integration with sensors, wireless modules, displays, and other peripherals. To excel in this role, you are required to have the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or pursuing final year in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field. - Strong understanding of C/C++ and embedded system concepts. - Basic knowledge of microcontroller architecture such as 8051, AVR, STM32, and ARM Cortex. - Familiarity with embedded development tools like Keil, MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino, etc. - Basic understanding of digital electronics and circuit design. - Exposure to debugging tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes is a plus. - Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Additionally, the preferred but not mandatory qualifications include: - Knowledge of RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS). - Exposure to IoT platforms like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc. - Understanding of low-power design and optimization. The duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance. For fresher roles, there is a probation period of 6 months.
