Embedded Software Engineer

Education

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in

  Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

  , or related field

Experience

• 3–5 years

  of experience in

  embedded systems development/testing

  with a focus on

  camera frameworks

• Proven track record in

  driver development, integration, and debugging

  for camera sensors

Technical Skills

• Strong programming in

  Embedded C/C++

  , scripting (Python, Shell)
• Hands-on experience with

  Linux Kernel Media Subsystem (V4L2)

  for camera driver development
• Familiarity with

  Android Camera HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)

  and Camera2 APIs
• Experience with

  camera sensor integration

  (MIPI CSI2, I2C, SPI, UART)
• Knowledge of

  multimedia frameworks

  (OpenMAX, GStreamer, or similar)
• Exposure to

  image signal processing (ISP)

  pipelines and tuning
• Experience with

  build & integration tools

  (makefiles, Git workflows, Jenkins CI/CD)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  Qualcomm Hexagon SDK

  or

  NVIDIA Jetson multimedia stack

• Knowledge of

  AI acceleration

  and

  computer vision use cases

  (OpenCV, TensorRT)
• Familiarity with

  DSP optimization techniques

  for camera/image workloads
• Exposure to

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate

  camera sensor drivers

  using Linux V4L2 and Android HAL frameworks
• Configure and validate

  camera pipelines

  (sensor ISP application layer)
• Perform

  unit, component, and system-level testing

  for camera modules
• Collaborate with hardware teams for

  sensor bring-up and debugging

• Optimize camera drivers for

  performance, latency, and power efficiency

• Document and maintain

  driver architecture, test cases, and integration workflows
