Embedded Software Engineer (AOSP)

Senior Engineer (4-8 years)

Must-Have-Skills

• Strong experience with AOSP build & compilation and multimedia module integration
• In-depth knowledge of Android Multimedia architecture (Media Framework, MediaCodec, Stagefright)
• Hands-on experience with Audio, Camera, and Video frameworks
• Experience with Multimedia HAL (Audio HAL / Camera HAL)
• Strong understanding of Android boot flow, init, and recovery (from multimedia bring-up perspective)
• Experience with SELinux policy configuration for multimedia components
• Strong skills in Native development (C / C++)
• Excellent debugging skills using logs, traces, dumpsys, systrace, etc.

  Good-To-Have

• AOSP architecture-level customization & feature addition
• Awareness of Android SDK & activity lifecycle
• Comfortable with Git (command line)
• Strong Linux skills for debugging & log analysis
• Ability to work without IDE in AOSP source tree
• Awareness of security standards (SSL, JWT)
• HAL development experience
• Exposure to CTS / VTS and related bug fixes
• Experience with Audio, Camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi AOSP stacks
