Embedded Dev- MM GFX, Engineer Senior

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to create cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather performance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess 2-5 years of work experience in embedded software and/or driver. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organization. - Proficient in C/C++ programming. - Have a good understanding of embedded system architecture. - Familiarity with 2D and 3D graphics technology and standards like OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan is a plus. - Experience in multimedia areas such as Display/Video/GFX/Camera/Audio is advantageous. - Knowledge or experience in using the GPU as a compute engine, GPGPU, and OpenCL is beneficial. - Exposure to virtualization technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators is a plus. - Ability to write vertex and fragment shaders using shading languages like GLSL is advantageous. - Preferred knowledge in operating systems like Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with teams across different time zones. - Demonstrated passion for excellence in programming and exceeding goals. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. **Additional Company Information:** Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
