Embedded C Developer

As an Embedded Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware in C for RTOS/Linux-based embedded systems and BIOS. Your role will involve working with SDKs to integrate and enhance Soundbox functionalities. You will also be tasked with implementing and maintaining secure HTTP/HTTPS and socket communication protocols for real-time data transfer. Efficient memory management will be a key focus area, where you will troubleshoot memory leaks and optimize system performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain MQTT-based communication for seamless real-time transactions and remote device management. Low-level debugging, hardware-software interfacing, and system profiling will be essential tasks to improve performance. As part of your responsibilities, you will implement encryption, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols to ensure safe financial transactions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, backend developers, and product teams, will be crucial to enhance system functionality. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware update mechanisms for smooth remote software updates. To be successful in this role, you should have 4+ years of experience in Embedded C development with expertise in low-level firmware programming. A strong background in RTOS, Linux-based systems, or BIOS programming is required. Extensive experience in HTTP/HTTPS, socket programming, and MQTT communication is essential. Experience working with IOT devices and knowledge of memory management, dynamic allocation, stack/heap optimization, and debugging memory leaks are also important. Furthermore, familiarity with working with SDKs, third-party libraries, integrating hardware components, and wireless connectivity protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, NFC, RFID) will be advantageous. An understanding of OTA firmware update mechanisms and the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions are desirable skills for this role.,
