Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to define the strategy for email campaigns, ensuring they align with company objectives, product launches, and customer engagement goals.
Campaign Execution: Manage end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, creative direction, copywriting, and deployment across email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
Segmentation & Personalization: Segment email lists based on customer behavior, demographics, and purchase history to create targeted, personalized messaging for each segment.
Automation Management: Develop and manage email automation workflows, including onboarding, re-engagement, and abandoned cart sequences, to maximize customer retention and conversion.
A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, design, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to improve campaign performance. Analyze results and implement optimizations for ongoing campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze email campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.), and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, design, and product teams to create compelling email content, visuals, and offers that resonate with our target audience.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure email campaigns comply with privacy laws and email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends and best practices to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing the budget for email campaigns and resources, ensuring maximum ROI on campaigns.
Requirements
Strong expertise in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Active Campaign, Marketo, etc.) and email automation tools.
In-depth knowledge of email metrics and how to optimize campaigns based on data (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.).
Proficiency in segmentation, A/B testing, and email list management.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple email campaigns simultaneously.
Experience in creating engaging email content (copywriting) and working with design teams for email visuals.
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of email marketing compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CRM tools for customer segmentation and integration.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization.
Experience in eCommerce email marketing (e.g., product recommendations, transactional emails, etc.).
Familiarity with customer lifecycle marketing and retargeting strategies.
