We are seeking talented professionals to join our Compliance Division , who can lead and support our clients in adhering to the evolving Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations in India. Position Overview: The Manager – EPR Compliances will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all regulatory compliance matters related to Plastic Waste Management Rules, E-Waste (Management) Rules, Battery Waste Management Rules and other related Guidelines . The candidate will work closely with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement internal compliance processes aligned with EPR mandates for all applicable waste categories. Coordinate with clients and internal departments to prepare and submit EPR plans, registration documents, quarterly returns, and audit reports. Track updates to CPCB/SPCB guidelines and ensure timely regulatory adjustments. Conduct training and awareness sessions for clients and staff on EPR requirements. Collaborate with internal operations, legal, and sustainability teams to drive a culture of compliance. Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities and represent ELIMA in relevant stakeholder meetings. Investigate compliance breaches and coordinate resolution with concerned teams. Preferred Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in EPR, regulatory compliance, or legal roles. Industry: Experience in the waste management, recycling, or sustainability sector is preferred. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of EPR frameworks for Plastics, E-Waste, Batteries etc., Familiarity with CPCB/SPCB portals and compliance workflows. Excellent client coordination and communication skills. Legal acumen to interpret and respond to regulatory frameworks (preferred). Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously. Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and presentation.
