Electroplating Lab Chemist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Chemical Analysis:

- Conduct chemical analysis of electroplating solutions, including testing for pH, metal content, and other relevant parameters.

- Use analytical instruments such as atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and titration equipment.

2. Quality Control:

- Monitor and control the quality of electroplating solutions and processes.

- Conduct regular testing and analysis of electroplating solutions and products.

3. Process Development:

- Develop and implement new electroplating processes and solutions.

- Optimize existing electroplating processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

4. Troubleshooting:

- Troubleshoot electroplating-related issues, including defects, contamination, and equipment problems.

- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of chemical analysis, testing, and quality control data.

- Prepare reports and documentation as required by customers, regulatory bodies, or internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Education: BSc or MSc in Chemistry or related field.

2. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in electroplating or a related field.

3. Skills:

- Strong knowledge of chemistry and electrochemistry.

- Experience with analytical instruments and laboratory equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

4. Certifications: Certification in electroplating or surface finishing is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
