Electronics Repair Engineer - TV, Laptop, Mobile

Responsibilities

1) Television Repair & Service

Repair and fix television equipment, including display, panels, boards and other components. Identifying and fixing problems with TV reception, picture quality, sound, and other malfunctions. 

2) Mobile Repair & Service

Identifying the root cause of problems with mobile devices using diagnostic tools and techniques. Replacing components like screens, batteries, charging ports, and other damaged parts. Ensuring devices function correctly after repairs through functionality testing. 

3) Laptop Repair & Service

Identifying the root cause of hardware and software problems in laptops using diagnostic tools and techniques. Performing necessary repairs, including component replacement (e.g., motherboards, screens, keyboards, hard drives). 

4) General Electronics Repair & Service

Fixing or replacing faulty parts, circuits, or components in electronic devices such as speakers, ear pods, earbuds etc. Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand how systems work and how to repair them. Utilising a variety of tools like Soldering iron, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment.

Skills

Strong understanding of mobile device hardware and software, including common issues and troubleshooting methods. Strong understanding of laptop hardware and software, including operating systems, drivers, and common applications. 

Ability to analyse issues, identify solutions, and implement repairs effectively. Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and provide a positive repair experience. Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve a wide range of laptop issues. Proficiency in disassembling and reassembling laptops, soldering, and replacing components. 

Qualifications

A candidate with minimum 1 year of experience and an associate's degree in electronics or a related field, along with relevant experience preferred. Certification in Service / Repair Engineering is nice to have. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
