Electromechanical Engineer

Location:

Pune or Coimbatore

Your Role

As an

Electromechanical Engineer

, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical cabinets and connectivity solutions for high-tech machines. Youll work closely with project managers, lead engineers, and cross-functional teams to engineer advanced system enclosures and cabling harnesses that support the next generation of lithography machines.

In this role, you will:

Design electrical cabinets containing controllers, power supplies, computing modules, and other electronics.
Engineer cabling harnesses and routing between PCBAs, sensors, actuators, racks, and connection interfaces.
Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD designs and technical product documentation (TPD).
Collaborate with mechanical designers, flow and temperature engineers, and external suppliers.
Ensure compliance with EMC, safety, diagnostics, and thermal/cooling requirements.
Participate in design reviews and validation/testing of electromechanical systems.
Support production and service engineers by transferring design knowledge and resolving issues.

Your Profile

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in electronic function design within multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools (preferably NX and TCE).
Strong understanding of cabling concepts, connectivity, EMC, and safety standards.
Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting design reviews.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, structured approach to problem-solving.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
