Electrician

As an Electrician, your primary responsibility will involve executing electrical installations for both new constructions and existing buildings in countries such as Qatar, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, and Kuwait. You will be tasked with inspecting electrical systems to guarantee operational efficiency and safety, diagnosing and resolving electrical problems in machinery, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. It will be essential to ensure that all installations conform to local and national electrical codes, interpret technical diagrams and blueprints accurately, and conduct circuit testing to assess system efficiency effectively. Collaboration with fellow construction professionals and engineers for project development will be crucial, along with documenting all work undertaken, including repairs, changes, and inspections. Upholding safety standards to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment is a non-negotiable aspect of this role. Moreover, establishing strong client relationships, offering exceptional customer service and support, and educating clients on the maintenance of electrical systems are integral components. To excel in this position, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with the completion of an apprenticeship program being advantageous. Previous experience as an electrician in a commercial or residential setting is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards. Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints, familiarity with a range of electrical tools and equipment, and robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential. Effective communication, attention to detail, independence in work, and strong interpersonal skills are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. Holding a valid electrician license or certification as mandated by local laws is necessary. A physically demanding work environment will require you to work at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols. Additionally, possessing reliable and punctual work habits, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to travel to Qatar for on-site projects is crucial. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes are expected, and any prior experience in international projects would be considered advantageous.
