Electrician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, control devices, and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and tools. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other technicians. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations.
