Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in poultry housing and farm operations. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in systems such as: Ventilation fans and heaters Lighting systems (including LED and UV) Feeders and drinkers (automatic and manual) Backup power systems (generators, inverters) Alarms, timers, and sensors (temperature, humidity, ammonia) Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems. Ensure electrical systems are compliant with relevant safety codes and regulations. Coordinate with farm managers for planning electrical layouts in new buildings or upgrades. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work. Respond promptly to emergency repair needs to minimize downtime and protect flock welfare. Requirements: Proven experience as an electrician; experience in agricultural or poultry settings is a strong advantage. Knowledge of electrical systems related to climate control, automation, and backup power. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with safety and health regulations relevant to farm environments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. High school diploma or technical certification in electrical systems (vocational training preferred). Physical fitness to work in farm environments and handle electrical equipment safely.
