Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure electrical safety for manpower, machines, and overall plant infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting of all electrical equipment.
Handle
LT Transformers, Power Distribution Panels, MCCs
, and control circuits.
Monitor and maintain
Solar Power Systems
and support energy saving initiatives.
Operate and maintain
Diesel Generator (DG) Sets
, including routine checks and AMC coordination.
Manage
UPS systems
for plant and accommodation facilities.
Monitor and maintain
Air Compressors, water pumps
, and other utility equipment.
Support
production and automation teams
to ensure minimum downtime.
Ensure proper
earthing for machines
and conduct quarterly earth resistance testing.
Coordinate with
TN-EB
for power-related approvals, load enhancement, and ongoing electrical works.
Maintain maintenance records, statutory registers, and audit documentation.
