ELECTRICIAN

1. Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations of the facility.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Installation & Maintenance

• Install, repair, and maintain wiring systems, electrical panels, switches, MCB, MCCB, and distribution boards.
• Ensure proper functioning of all electrical equipment including motors, pumps, UPS, inverter, generator, and lighting systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.

B. Diagnostic & Troubleshooting

• Identify electrical issues using testing devices and resolve faults quickly.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns in electrical lines, circuits, and control systems.

C. Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety standards as per electrical rules and hospital safety protocols.
• Ensure proper earthing, load balancing, and energy-saving measures.
• Maintain records of electrical inspections and maintenance activities.

D. Equipment Handling

• Operate tools such as multimeter, tester, megger, crimping tools, and cable cutters.
• Assist in installation of new machines, medical equipment, or building infrastructure.

E. Coordination

• Coordinate with departments for electrical needs and ensure timely support.
• Report major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor/HOD immediately.

3. Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance (hospital experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, safety rules, and equipment.

4. Skills Required

• Technical knowledge of wiring, control panels, and power systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance.

5. Work Environment

• Hospital/Industrial/Commercial building maintenance.
• Rotational shifts if required.
• Work in indoor and outdoor areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
