Job Description

Job Summary:

A Panel Wireman is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and switchgear according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures.
  • Wire components such as relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, contactors, switches, and terminal blocks.
  • Route and terminate cables neatly and according to wiring standards.
  • Carry out point-to-point continuity checks and insulation resistance testing.
  • Ensure all wiring is done in compliance with relevant electrical regulations and company standards.
  • Assist in functional testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and modifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality targets are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Wireman, Electrical Assembler, or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems and components.
  • Competent in the use of hand tools, crimpers, and multimeters.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations .
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant electrical qualification (ITI, Diploma)

Working Conditions:

  • Workshop or factory-based environment.
  • May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Use of PPE and adherence to site safety policies required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,835.96 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Panel wiring: 4 years (Preferred)
