Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Panel Wiring & Assembly: Carry out wiring of control panels, MCCs, PCCs, and automation panels as per design and schematics.
• Electrical Drawings: Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, GA drawings, and panel layouts.
• Installation Assistance: Support senior technicians/engineers in site installation, cabling, and panel erection. Support installation of control panels and automation systems at client sites, including cabling, terminations, and system start-up.
• Testing Support: functional checks; identify and resolve wiring or component issues. Assist in preliminary testing and continuity checks of wiring.
• Maintenance: Provide preventive and corrective maintenance for control panels, VFDs, PLCs, and related electrical/automation equipment.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
• Material Handling: Ensure proper use of tools, components, and maintain cleanliness of workshop/worksite.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers and supervisors for timely project execution.
• Documentation: Maintain records of wiring, modifications, and service report activities.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and switchgear.
• Familiarity with control components (relays, contactors, MCBs, MCCBs, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, timers, etc.).
• Ability to read and follow electrical drawings and panel diagrams.
• Hands-on experience in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of automation systems and instrumentation.
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics.
• 2–5 years of experience in control panel wiring, automation, or electrical maintenance (entry-level candidates with training may also be considered).

Work Environment

• Workshop (panel assembly, wiring, testing).
• Field/site visits for installation and commissioning.
• Coordination with engineers, supervisors, and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,825.00 per month
