Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at a crane manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems used in the design and operation of cranes and lifting equipment. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure equipment is built to specification, operates safely, and meets industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and wire electrical control panels, motors, drives, and sensors for crane systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform testing and inspection of electrical components and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in cranes, hoists, and related equipment.
• Assist in the setup and commissioning of new crane systems.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to support integrated crane systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of wiring changes, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Support the development of custom electrical solutions for client-specific crane configurations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician, preferably in heavy machinery or crane manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of control systems, PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and motor starters.
• Ability to work from technical documents and schematics.
• Proficient in using electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.).
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or travel as needed for installations or service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
