Electrical Technician

Growloc Pvt Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Electrical Service Engineer to be a part of our innovative team. As an Electrical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical equipment and systems for our esteemed clients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting preventative maintenance checks and repairs on a range of electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, PLC systems, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. You will be expected to efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools, as well as perform field repairs and component replacements when necessary. It is imperative that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations. In addition to technical duties, you will be required to interact with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Offering top-notch customer service is essential, which involves providing clear and concise communication on service updates, troubleshooting, and recommendations. Promptly addressing customer concerns in a professional manner is also part of the role. Moreover, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients over the phone or remotely, assisting with system upgrades and installations, and documenting all service activities accurately in company records. This position will involve approximately 40% travel time to customer sites within and outside of Pune. Therefore, a willingness to travel is necessary. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, ITI, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair. A strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, power distribution, and control systems, is required. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred, as well as knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards such as NEC and IEC.
