Electrical Technician

Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to manage and maintain all electrical systems at Abhinaya Cinemas. The candidate should ensure safety, efficiency, and uninterrupted operations across all cinema screens, projection systems, concession areas, and common facilities. Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair all electrical wiring, systems, and equipment Ensure proper functioning of power supply to projection equipment, HVAC units, lighting, F&B counters, and signage Perform preventive maintenance on cinema electrical infrastructure Attend to breakdowns and emergency electrical issues during operating hours Support new electrical installations or upgrades as required Coordinate with external service providers/vendors for specialized work Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes Maintain accurate logs of work done, issues encountered, and parts used Requirements ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Valid electrical license/certification preferred Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a commercial or cinema setting Knowledge of power distribution panels, UPS, DG, and HVAC integration Ability to work in shifts and be available on call during emergencies Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Understanding of basic safety protocols and fire safety systems Perks & Benefits Performance-linked incentives Uniform and meal allowance Employee benefits including PF, ESI, health coverage (as applicable) Opportunities for career growth in cinema operations and facilities management Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
