Job Summary: The Executive Chef will lead all culinary operations at the cinema’s food and beverage outlets, including the café, snack counters, and premium lounges. They will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, quality control, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while maintaining innovation and efficiency tailored to a fast-paced entertainment environment. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development: Design and regularly update innovative, cinema-friendly menus including snacks, quick-service meals, and beverages aligned with audience preferences and seasonal ingredients. Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen activities, ensure timely food preparation, and maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination across all shifts. Inventory & Procurement: Forecast requirements, maintain stock levels, liaise with suppliers, and control food costs without compromising quality. Compliance & Hygiene: Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols in line with FSSAI regulations. Cost & Waste Control: Monitor food waste, implement portion control, and track food cost percentages to maintain profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with service and counter teams to ensure efficient order execution and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management. 3+ years of experience in commercial kitchens; QSR or cinema F&B experience preferred. Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of food safety norms and kitchen compliance practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Traits: Creative thinker with a passion for casual dining and fast food innovation. Strong budgeting and vendor negotiation skills. Experience handling high-volume service environments. The candidate should ensure safety, efficiency, and uninterrupted operations across all cinema screens, projection systems, concession areas, and common facilities.
