Job Title: Electrical Site Coordinator

Location: Cochin

Job Summary

The Electrical Site Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all electrical activities on construction sites, ensuring that electrical installations are performed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, electricians, and other trades to ensure the smooth progress of electrical works. The Electrical Site Coordinator will also ensure that all electrical systems are installed according to design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision:
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.
• Coordinate daily site activities with electrical subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
• Ensure proper communication between the site crew, project management, and engineering teams.
• Monitor the quality of electrical work and compliance with electrical design, standards, and safety regulations.
• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with the project manager and site supervisor to establish work schedules and resource allocation.
• Review electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements.
• Assist in the development and updating of project schedules to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to avoid delays and resolve conflicts.
• Material & Resource Management:
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available on-site when needed.
• Monitor the use of materials and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
• Forecast material needs and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical site supervision or coordination, ideally within construction or engineering projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, installation processes, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and project managers.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management software, and site management tools.
• A valid electrical license or certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
