Electrical Sub Station Operator (Transformer, DG, ACB, VCB & Motors)

Job Summary:

The Electrical Sub-Station Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the electrical sub-station. This role involves monitoring equipment, performing routine inspections, coordinating with the operations/maintenance team, and responding promptly to system abnormalities or emergencies.

Skills & Qualifications:Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience:

• 1–5 years’ experience in Electrical Sub-Station operations (11kV/33kV/66kV or similar)

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of HT/LT panels, transformers, protection systems, DG/UPS, RMU, VCB/ACB
• Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs
• Understanding of PLC/SCADA monitoring systems (preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and safety-focused mindset
• Ability to work in shifts

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based duty (24/7 operations)
• Work inside electrical sub-station environment
• Need to use PPE and follow strict safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
