Electrical Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical installations and activities on industrial construction sites such as factories, plants, and warehouses. The ideal candidate will ensure timely project delivery, compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordination with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Supervision:
• Manage day-to-day electrical site operations in industrial construction projects.
• Supervise electrical teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper installation of electrical systems (power distribution, control panels, lighting, earthing, etc.).
• Planning & Coordination:
• Review project designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare work schedules and ensure work is carried out as per the timeline.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other departments for integrated site execution.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure all electrical works meet relevant codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, IS standards) and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for approvals and site inspections.
• Safety & Documentation:
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
• Maintain accurate site records, including material usage, manpower deployment, and progress reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• Experience:
• Proven experience (e.g., 8+ years) in managing electrical works in industrial construction projects (factories, plants, warehouses, etc.)
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control systems, and automation is an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and layout plans.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Project, and electrical simulation software.
• Understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, MCC/PCC panels, DG sets, and other industrial electrical infrastructure.
