Profile Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Purchase Trainee to join our Procurement team in the elevator manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong interest or basic experience in procurement processes, especially in sourcing electrical components and raw materials. This role is designed for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a career in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and fulfilling the organization’s electrical procurement needs.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials and electrical components used in elevator manufacturing.
• Handle end-to-end procurement activities including RFQ, quotation comparison, purchase order creation, and follow-ups.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
• Analyze inventory trends to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with stores and production departments to ensure material availability.
• Manage invoices and payment processes in coordination with the finance department.
• Support vendor negotiations and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of electrical components and raw material sourcing
• Knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Ability to handle pressure situations and deadlines effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
• High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Fresh graduates (B.E. Electrical) with strong academic background and interest in procurement
• Candidates with 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in electrical raw material sourcing and end-to-end procurement
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment
