Electrical Principal Engineer

Role Overview: Our Electrical Engineering team at Dell Technologies is seeking an Electrical Principal Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As an Electrical Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. You will be responsible for designing next-generation HW features in partnership with front-end teams and industry partners, driving feature and cost trade-off analysis, providing design guidance, and delivering assigned system interfaces across extended teams. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of engineers and contribute to innovative products in the server marketspace. Key Responsibilities: - Design next-generation HW features in collaboration with front-end teams and industry partners - Conduct feature and cost trade-off analysis to offer technical recommendations - Provide design guidance to enable and support global teams - Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams - Prepare documentation for inspection and testing procedures Qualifications Required: - 8-13 years of experience in FPGA hardware verification using Verilog coding, System Verilog, and VHDL coding practices - Experience in UVM Verification framework, Assertion-based Verification, Code coverage, and Unit-level simulations - Proficiency in digital design methods such as CDC (Clock Domain Crossing), RDC (Rest Domain Crossing), timing constraints definition, and static timing analysis - Experience in RTL Digital Design verification of x86 Core or ARM processor architecture - Familiarity with Peripheral Protocols like I2C, I3C, SMbus, IPMI, and IPMB Additional Company Details: Dell Technologies is a unique family of businesses dedicated to helping individuals and organizations transform how they work, live, and play.
