Experience in electrical maintenance within the mining or heavy industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and safety standards.Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and using diagnostic tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within the mineral mining plant. This role involves conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment longevity. Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions, employing analytical skills to resolve issues quickly.Collaborate with other engineering teams to identify root causes of recurring electrical problems. Installation: Oversee the installation of new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices, conducting risk assessments and safety audits. Maintain compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
