Electrical Lead - Senior Manager

Role & responsibilities

Single point of contact with off-takers / customers / internal management to communicate the projects engineering, procurement, execution, legal compliance, and statutory approval plans/status. Address and resolve all project-associated concerns – whether arising internally or externally.

• Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific SOLAR and WIND project. Further, coordinate with the engineering and construction team over the course of project construction to oversee timely preparation/ submission/ approval of the engineering drawings.
• Lead a team comprising the Site Manager (Execution), HSE Executive, Civil Engineers (Execution), Electrical Engineers (Execution), Quality Control Executive (Third-party), Trainees (Third-party), and Stores in charge on a daily basis to pre-empt the execution-associated challenges and address the same. Monitor the site expenses, raise the request for the same internally, and oversee its timely approval. Ensure registration of the local land development / petty vendors, the release of PO/ WO to them, and process due payments.
• Identify the sources of likely local problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.
• Share the Daily Progress Report, Procurement Tracker, Engineering Tracker, Cashflows, and L1 schedules – internally and with the customer.
• Ensure that all the pre-commissioning checks and tests are carried out prior to project commissioning for SOLAR and WIND as per HFE policy like -PSS/GSS -400/220/132/110/33 KV, SCADA and Transmission lines. Update the punch-point list and PR test sheet on a regular basis and ensure the timely handover of the project to the HFE Asset Management department and obtain the Commissioning Certificate.
