Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Design and develop control panels, wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts for Gear Grinding, Hobbing, and Shaping machines.
Prepare SLD, GA drawings, control schematics, and BOM (Bill of Material) for machine panels.
Select appropriate electrical components: drives (servo, spindle), PLC, CNC, HMIs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and sensors.
Supervise panel wiring, assembly, and machine integration as per design and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CNC/PLC systems, drives, and control circuits during manufacturing and testing.
Support machine trials, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), installation, and commissioning at client sites.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, ISO/CE requirements, and customer specifications.
Coordinate with the mechanical, design, and service teams for smooth machine integration.

Strong knowledge of electrical panel design for machine tools.
Hands-on experience in CNC/PLC-based control systems (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / E-Plan for panel & wiring design.
Expertise in servo motors, spindle drives, encoders, and feedback systems.
Good understanding of interlocking circuits, safety relays, and motor control centers (MCCs).
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in precision machines.
