Description
As a Electrical Engineering Graduate with 8-10 years of relevant experience, you will be joining Siemens Energy in Gurugram to take on a challenging and future-oriented role. In your new role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering various aspects related to power plants, including but not limited to Power Distribution System, Selection of Drives, SLDs conceptualization & preparation, Equipment specification, Tender/Bid Evaluation, Calculation of Power Requirements, Cable design, Lighting & small power design, Schematic Diagrams, Interconnections, and Technical Co-ordination with suppliers and clients. Additionally, you will be involved in performing system studies such as Short circuit, Load flow studies, motor starting voltage drop analysis, Earthing / Grounding Calculations, and more. To excel in this role, you should be well-versed in International codes & standards like IEC, NEC, IEEE, VDE, and have hands-on experience with tools like ETAP, Auto GRID pro, EMTP, Relux & MS Office tools. Your role will also require you to identify and fulfill contractual requirements relevant for Planning and Design, participate in concept reviews, support problem-solving of site issues, and contribute to standardization and innovation in your technical field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Power Plant processes, Project Contract contents, Time Scheduling, Indian and International codes & standards, and guidelines followed in Power plants (e.g., KKS system). You should have a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and applying them in a customer-facing environment, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to persevere under pressure.
