Electrical Designer

• The Electrical Designer is responsible for creating, developing, and reviewing electrical design documentation for projects.
• This includes preparing electrical schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
• The role involves collaborating with engineers and other design professionals to ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and project objectives.
• The Electrical Designer also participates in project meetings, coordinates with other disciplines, and assists with the preparation of bills of materials and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare electrical designs, drawings, and documentation for various projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical systems meet project specifications and codes.
• Perform design calculations and select appropriate materials and components.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines during project development.
• Review and verify designs for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and reports as needed.
• Support construction and installation activities by providing technical guidance.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Revit) and electrical design tools.
• Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant experience in electrical design is preferred.
